Ok...:)

I'm attempting to finish my earlier post... We'll see how this goes... Unfortunately, I have no access to my pictures, so this will be slightly lame.
6. Cleveland Days- Was AmAzInG, as always! The fireworks seem to be getting better every time! My purchases from Forbidden Fruit are the same way. Cleveland Days had many nice tributes to Darrell Gardner. One of my favorite things I saw was JR Nelson riding an electric scooter in the parade :)
7. Rachel!- Of course she came to Cleveland! It's a tradition! We even ate frozen yogurt. But this year Kaili and I visited Vernal too. We swam at the rec center (where Nikki was working), and ate some frozen custard. Yum! We also played Wii and did some intense karate moves :)
8. KIRSA COMING HOME!!!! - What can I say? This was the highlight of my summer! We've had fun talking, and I think Kirsa enjoys knowing too many languages, because she leaves me quite confused way too often:)
9. Moving into the apartment- The big official move was on august 17th. The apartment looks good, and i've had some adventures there so far... like the washer not draining after a load, so I got to pull water-logged clothing out of the washer... they took FOREVER to dry! And mowing the lawn gave me some lovely blisters on my thumbs, but they've pretty much healed. And then Carly and Maquel came over to play some N64. Pretty much uberly epic. Mario Party is still way fun to me :)
10. LSH- Late Summer Honors- My lovely one credit, week-long honors class. I took an illustrating journal class. It totally changed my opinion about journaling. It can be quite fun! My homework consisted of sketching (Kirsa was very helpful) and painting with watercolors. oh yeah. I hope I can keep in contact with my LSH friends for a long time :)

YAY!!! I finished! Now I will have to blog about college... later... :)

OoPs...

Well, I think we can all tell that I did an incredibly awful job of updating my blog for the summer, so I will just write about ten significant events of the summer (These will be in a random order)
1. Getting together with a bunch of friends before we all started to leave to live the rest of our lives. This was my first official desert bonfire. it involved a lot of off-roading, and literally uprooting a dead tree to fuel the fire. It was the most enormous bonfire I have ever witnessed. No one could stand within 20 feet of it (at least). To put things into perspective, here is a lovely picture of Lethi by the fire:

Nifty, huh? :) We also did a lot of dancing. I realized I remember so little from Darrell's classes.

2. Frozen Yogurt! My dad ordered a soft-serve ice cream maker online, and it's wonderful. We've made a few batches over the course of summer. Here are some pictures:

The lovely machine...

My cone of deliciousness :)

And Kaili's delight!

3. Bunnies! Many litters were born over the summer, and they all are quite adorable.

Here's a family picture :)

And this little guy is Mister JJ. He competed in junior stock show, and won best pet buck and overall pet. The judge was convinced that he was a purebred. I find it funny that what I jokingly called deformities (because he doesn't look like his parents that much) would make him such a prize-winning bunny.

4. The 4th of July! well, it didn't seem that significant, actually, but I made cool cupcakes for the break the fast in the singles branch. They were from scratch and an extreme pain. I accidentally left out a ton of the called butter, but it made them like angel food cake, which actually tasted really good. I am not going to be making cupcakes from scratch for a looooonnnnnnnggggggg time.

Ta Da!

5. I seem to be making a habit of this, but this will be the last one for the post. I will make a part two later, but hopefully not too much later. This one is the Miss Cleveland Pageant. Kaili competed in the Princess category and won... yay! Here is an adorable picture of her taken the morning of the pageant.

She is dressed up for the tea, which is where the contestants eat a cute lunch and do an interview with the judges. For some reason, the judges only asked the girls one question. I find this lame, cuz that was not the case for me... oh well.

A Great Big Bunch of May, Part Trois

Ok... It shouldn't take too long to finish May... I hope. So the next part of my story begins in Vernal with a filly that was two days old at the time of these pictures. These are my uncle's horses that live behind my grandparents' house.

Karli, Kaili, Kasey, and horsies :)

You will have to forgive me for taking pictures from so far away. The horses were very shy and protective of the new addition.

I learned that one must be very careful when traveling through fields of poop while wearing flip flops.

But Blackie didn't seem to mind that so much. In fact, she did roll in a really big pile of poop. Yuck. Sorry for the sideways pic- it was being mean, and I gave up...

There is an old shed close to my grandparents' house, and it looked like a cute photo area.

I thought I should try it too :) In my opinion, it's not as fun to post pictures about your life if you're not in them.

This is the other side of the shed, in case you wanted to know: old cars...yup.

Kirsa, I was thinking of you and our cousins getting rides from dad on this cart when I took the picture... good times :)

And here's a picture of a tractor. I believe Kirsa and I got our picture taken on this tractor with Grandpa while we spent one of our summer weeks out here. Some other very good times, which also make me think of the old dinosaur museum and push pops and colorful tongues while uncovering fossils.

I've always liked this log cabin thingy, I've just never spent that much time around it. and the turtle makes me think of digging in sawdust for prizes.

Here's couple pics of Karli. I'm sad that I don't get to see her very often. She's four and can write her name so well! I was glad that she recognized me and remembered my name. She was very excited to show off her new cowgirl boots, which I did not get a picture of... oh well.

Sometimes Blackie enjoys being held like a baby.

My grandparents' yard had a few blooming flowers. This was one of my favorites, the Iris!! I really loved the colors on this one, kind of like a sunset flower.

And the Lilacs!!!

As you can see, this blog post decided to finally be nice, so here are the last of the pictures. I've liked this type of flower for a long time, but I never knew its name. Now I do! This lovely flower is called a peony. My life feels more complete now. Seriously, this has bugged me for many years!

So Here is an adorable horsie tire swing. The little girls loved it, as you will see below:

The one and only, adorable Karli!

This was the best picture of Kasey that I got... kinda sad...

I just love this picture of Kaili! Occasionally, I have good timing and aim at the same time while taking a picture.

Kaili, Blackie, and Kasey under a crab apple tree

Oh my monkey... I love your smile!!

Ok... the last post I have for this month: On May 31, 2010, Darrell Gardner, my former p.e. and social dance teacher, passed away in a farming accident. He also was a huge part of Cleveland- the Miss Cleveland Pageant has been cancelled this year because of this loss. Today was quite a rotten day because of my grieving. I learned things about myself today through my many hours of reflection. I learned that one person that doesn't seem to be a big part of your daily life can have an enormous impact on your life. I have learned that life is so fragile, even for someone as strong and invincible as he was. Finally, I've also gained a stronger testimony of the Plan of Happiness. This happened for an important and unknown reason. To sort of quote someone that posted on the wall of the group in his memory on Facebook- May he enjoy running through the fields of heaven.

A Great Big Bunch of May, Part Deux

This post starts with Just Dance Studio. This is the Emerald Class, which includes Kaili and Tarryn. I taught them a dance to the song "Tell Me Something I Don't Know" by Selena Gomez.

And this next section is some of my lovely friends doing a skit/dance as grandmas to the song "Move It" from Madagascar. As you may have guessed, they were a hit! :)

They did a lot of moves in a ripple, such as this
(I'm also really hating this pic right now because it has deleted itself at least FIVE times while I have created this post)

Mad Sprinkler Skills

EMERY HIGH

And now on to a Serious Matter: Graduation! Family came and I had tons of fun with friends.

Grandma, Me, and Grandpa

Mom, Me, and Dad

Kaili, Me, and Kasey- her family was bear hunting, so she got to visit us for a few days.
And the following are post- graduation- notice the tassles are on the other side :)

Me, Nikki, Barbie, Angela, and Lethi

Larelan and Me- We were the co-salutatorians!

Story-time: When Kirsa was a co-salutatorian, my dad said that the collar with the "S" reminded him of superman. I told Larelan this, therefore, we posed as super co-salutatorians!

Keith and Me- He also lives in Cleveland. He will be leaving for a mission to Brazil in October!

Me, Keith, and Lethi-
Story-time: Keith and Lethi have had an interesting...er...relationship... over the years that I've known them. I will just tell you about the climax of this year. Many months ago during lunch, Keith dipped his finger in barbecue sauce and attempted to stick it in her ear- it got in her ear, on cheek, and in her hair. Therefore, on the last day we ate lunch in the cafeteria, she needed to get revenge. She ended up coming up behind him with hands full of ranch and smearing it on his face. The ranch was all over his ears, cheeks, and neck. It was priceless. Also, he has put her car on blocks before, so I feel that she was very justified in her revenge.

Me and Karla- She is one of my dear friends from Ferron. She and Lethi came to my house on graduation night and slept over. We stayed up 'till 3. We watched Back to the Future, which she had never seen before.

Keshia, Kelby, and Me (There is a story coming up about Keshia, so keep her in mind)

Jessica and Me- She is also from Ferron and came to my sleepover. We also watched The Princess Bride, which she had never seen. We have become a lot closer this year. We had some good times in FBLA with putting hotel lampshades on our heads, and other good times in Biology, which included dissecting a cow eyeball. I was trying to cut the fat off the outside, and I dropped the eye. It rolled (surprisingly well) off of the table and into my lap! It's one of the sickest and most hilarious things that has ever happened to me.

This is the only big group picture I got
Top: Cort, Keith, Jesse, Colton, and Jake
Bottom: Me, Barbie, and Larelan

Larelan, Nevin, the Valedictorian, and Me

Stevie and Me

The collar for the Salutatorian is reversible, so I thought I would be Valedictorian for a minute... :)
Story-time: This picture is also the last photographic evidence I have of my tassel. I have no clue what happened to it! This is where Keshia comes into play: Her family and my family were at Megan's reception, and we sat together at a table. I told Keshia about my woes concerning my lack of a tassel, and she said that she ended up with an extra after graduation. She has no clue how it happened, and it could even be my original, for all I know :) . She brought it by my house later that evening. Thank you, Keshia!!!!

This is what I was wearing under my gown. It's a dress from Seasons Boutique! Gotta love the ruffles!

And outside the school

This concludes the pics from graduation and my post! I have a little more to say about May, but I CANNOT post anymore now-this beast of a post has emotionally drained me! Another section will come soon!
